Rice Barge Cruising to Ayutthaya, The Ruin City
2 Days 1 Night
TOUR CODE : HTA321

Ayutthaya, was one of the most prosperous capitals in Southeast Asia. This is justified by information from various foreign and Thai documents as well as the remains of over 500 palaces and temples, which are tangible evidences. This capital of the past lasted for 417 years. The kings were absolute rulers and religious patrons, leading this state through its evolution.

As one of the most peaceful, stable and enduring capitals in the history of Southeast Asia, a significant international port flourishing with unique art and culture, Ayutthaya made an enormous contribution to the knowledge of human development. Thus UNESCO approved its inclusion in its list of World Heritage Sites on December 13th 1991 in Carthage, Tunisia.
