Kanchanaburi,  is one of the most beautiful provinces of Thailand with a very delightful landscape.  It is already well known among War historians and movie buffs as the site of notorious Death Railway and The Bridge over The River Kwai, this famous bridge is on the bank of Kwai Yai River.  It was brought from Java by the Japanese Army and was assembled at the River Kwai by the war prisoners.   Bombed several times in 1945, it was rebuilt after the war again.  The curved spans of the bridge are the original sections.  An estimated 16,000 war prisoners and 49,000 impressed laborers died during the construction of the bridge and Death Railway.

JEATH War Museum, JEATH stands for Japan, England, America, Australia, Thailand and Holland.  The museum is a reconstructed A long passage made through the Stone Mountain by the allied prisoners indicated the extreme difficulty in construction the Death Railway P.O.W.S. (The prisoners of war in the Second World War during 1942-1947) thatched detention hut.  One can see how each P.O.W. was allotted a scrimping living space on the bunks.

War Cemetery,  this cemetery contains the remains of 6,982 war prisoners who lost their lives during the Captivity of the Japanese Army that forced them to build the Bridge over the River Kwai and the Death Railway.

At 07.00 am, our tour guide in purple and navy blue uniform will meet and greet at the hotel lobby.  Depart hotel to visit Kanchanaburi, 130 km. or 2 hours drives from Bangkok to the site of the Bridge over the River Kwai and Notorious Death Railway, visit JEATH War  Museum, an open air museum which replica of war hut. War Cemetery, which contains the remains of 6,982 prisoners of was who lost their lives during the bridge’s construction.

Then the unique Notorious Death Railway,  30 minutes to enjoy the most popular T
rain rides which is the most scenic you can't miss, the views are lovely, the history makes the ride so special. Return to Bangkok and transfer to hotel.
