Ayutthaya By Car:
Bang Pa-In Palace
Originally, Bang Pa-In was a reverie island. Built as a palace on a lake in the middle of the island by King Prasat Thong (1630-1655). It was used as country residence by every Ayutthayan monarch after King Prasat Thong until the new capital was established in Bangkok. It was left unoccupied for 80 years until King Mongkut had a house built in the old palace is compound. King Chulalongkorn constructed The Royal Palace as it is seen today.

Phra Sri Sanphet Temple, This important and most outstanding monastery is located in Grand Palace compound like Wat Phra Kaeo of Bangkok. Used as a residential palace, in 1500 a 16 meters high standing Buddha was cast by King Ramathipodi II. The image was covered with gold weighing some 170 kg. But destroying the in 1767, the Burmese set fire to the image to melt off the gold, completely image and the temple. Nearby are three Ceylonese style chedis built during the 15th century to enshrine the ashes of three Ayutthayan Kings. These were renovated in 1956. Phra Maha That Temple, It was built by King Ramesusn in 1384. The major construction was the high pagoda, or prang which was destroyed by Burmese invaders. When the government undertook to restore all Ayutthaya ruins in 1956, the Fine Arts Department excavated the pagoda and found a buried treasure chest containing many valuables. Among objects discovered were a relic of Lord Buddha, placed inside a golden casket, several golden Buddha images in different sizes and many other objects in gold, ruby and crystal.

Return by Cruise:
Welcome on Board to the Cruise at Wat Chong-lom Pier (Nonthaburi). Superb buffet lunch which includes a delight variety of oriental and western cuisines will be served. In the meantime, you will relax and enjoy the fascinating scenery on River of The Kings. The boat will pass Nonthaburi province before reaching Bangkok city, at 15.00 hours, coffee break will be served while you enjoy the enchanting sight along the river banks such as the Royal Barges, Thammasart University, the Royal Grand Palace and the graceful Temple Of Dawn. At 16:00 hours, arrive at the River City Shopping Complex Pier.

 Tour Schedule

At the pick up time, our tour guide in purple and navy blue uniform will meet and greet at the hotel lobby. Depart hotel to Ayutthaya World Heritage the former capital of Thailand, located 71 km. North of Thailand. Visit Bang Pa-In, The Royal Summer Palace was used as a country residence by every Ayutthayan monarch and was left unoccupied for 80 years when the new capital was established in Bangkok.  In 1868-1910, the palace was constructed by order of King Chulalongkorn as it is now seen today.

At 12.00 hours, transfer to Cruise,  at Pratumthanee pier which will be taken 1.30 hours to reach to pier.  3 hours on board,  Thai and European Buffet Lunch will be served on board.  Enjoy the beautiful scenery with lot of old Thai houses, temples and ancient places lining up the whole route of Chao Phraya River, an interesting way of seeing Thai ways of life.  Arrive River City Pier and transfer to the hotel.
